You can say "to have mud in your eyes". The other expressions I can think of in English (can't see the wood for the trees, can't see beyond the end of your own nose) have secondary implications which the rather base phrase above doesn't seem to lend itself to.

Or if you wanted to keep with the tone of the French we'd probably be more likely to just say, "Are you f***ing blind?"
